Cars will be hurling down the famous Las Vegas Strip well in excess of 200 mph in Formula 1’s bid to create the “Monza of America” Grand Prix. Audi to Enter Formula 1

In case you missed it, Audi has announced they will be joining the Formula 1 grid beginning with the 2026 season, both as a team and as an engine manufacturer. Unfortunately, it won’t mean that a new team will be added; rather, Audi and the Sauber team are now partners. (Sauber is currently in an agreement with Alfa Romeo; however, that comes to its conclusion at the end of the 2023 season.)

Fernando Alonso Goes to Aston Martin

Fernando Alonso can be rather polarizing. Depending upon who you ask, he’s either the greatest driver on the grid who deserves more championships, or he’s a toxic individual and creates chaos on teams.


Something I want to tackle here, however, is whether teams are better off once he leaves. This is a theory that’s been going around for a while now, and it touches on various parts of Alonso’s characteristics. This is especially important to consider as Fernando Alonso goes to Aston Martin in 2023. What I’ll do is look at each time Alonso left a team and how they did the following season, plus add some colorful commentary to each situation.

When the first Miami F1 race was announced last year in 2022, we knew we had to be there. In our minds, no other venue could match. Normally we are not beach vacationers, but when a Formula 1 race takes place close by, of course we have to be there!

We were even happier when we got the confirmation and support from CMC Motorsports to start the long journey to the Sunshine State, so we could finally get to know the American way of life and find out how it fits together with Formula 1.
